Experimental Study of Pulsating Heat Pipes Filled with Nanofluids under the Irradiation of Solar Simulator

Developing renewable energy technologies, especially solar technology, is of vital importance to cope with increasing consumption. The existing thermal systems have the disadvantages capturing inefficiently and needing additional pumping power circulate working fluid. A concept a direct absorption pump-free system that combines advantages nanoparticles pulsating heat pipes (PHP) proposed in this work. effects variety parameters including nanoparticle types, concentration, nanofluid filling rate on performance PHP were studied. It was found has best (80–90%) making transfer minimizing resistance. concentration affects input pipe thus operation PHP. relatively low cannot absorb enough drive operate normally. Experimental research shows new can efficiently into targeted area spontaneously, which may be an approach for future utilization.
